BY Two Architects is a Stockholm based architecture and interior design studio founded by Olle Blomquist and Catherine Yarwood.
We offer a design service driven by our passion to create inspiring, functional and healthy spaces that people love. Understanding our clients’ needs and the unique context of each project is always the starting point. Through a collaborative process we then bring technical expertise and artistic vision together to create thoughtful architecture that adds significant value to your life.
We stand for sustainable construction. For us, that means to design with intention and build with quality - to make buildings that last. Advocating the health benefits of natural materials, suggesting passive energy saving strategies, and encouraging reuse are more specific examples of how we bring this ethos into the discussion.
Before founding the studio, Olle led residential projects at Andreas Martin-Löf Arkitekter in Stockholm, while Catherine worked at David Kohn Architects in London and Elding Oscarson in Stockholm. She acted as lead architect on the Kasper Salin Prize-winning extension of Tekniska museet.
